Like a prism, we take in light from our investors and project it out into specific areas and needs of the business culture where we see opportunity.
Often times we find ourselves in overcrowded, over-greedy markets with fly-by-night participants. Today, we’re focused heavily on oil and gas mineral acquisition, but just around the corner, that can change. Our investors are authentic, whole, one-minded. And as an investment fund, we reflect the authenticity of these investors into whatever space our imaginations may lead us.
We represent a fine group of investors by being people of character. We give strangers the hope that there are still good people left in the world by treating the quality of our partnership as our primary measure, whether it’s for an hour or a decade. We speak with clarity, and we work from the same side of the table as all our partners. A “win” is for all parties involved. Often the investment arenas we participate within are too easily glossed over as unconnected ‘transactional work’ but we view them as an opportunity to bring value and meaning into everyone’s life. Stewardship is connected deeply to the shared mind and values of everyone involved with MAEVLO. Standing shoulder-to-shoulder, we manage, embody, and define a group of likeminded people and foster an atmosphere of mutual support and unity around shared values.

Our Name Means something.
“MAEVLO” (May-v-low) isn’t a random assortment of letters. It’s rooted from the children’s names of our lead steward. Family is first, and is paramount within the inspiration for every decision and every opportunity we pursue. We’re founded and invest as a family (4 generations of investors are represented within our fund) with intentional focus to generate ways for people to spend more time with their family!
We are NOT
A portfolio brand that is owned by a large institution. Which means we are not required to stray from our core beliefs by a dogmatic approach to finding deals and wringing every last dime out of a huge quota. We’re small and we’re human, first. We don’t play by the groupthink rules and corporate agendae, we never will.
We strive to live fully, where money is viewed as a tool to that end. We invest in ways that enhance how we all live, together, no matter what our interaction may be. For our mineral royalty sellers, we provide a chance to unhook from corporate relationships that are not built to serve small individual holdings or we can provide an avenue to realize a capital event that’s been generations in the making!
